To celebrate the 40^th anniversary of the release of Scarface iconic film, The Coin Company is excited to present 2023 Scarface 40th Anniversary 1oz Silver Coin.

Released in 1983 Scarface is American crime drama film directed by Brian De Palma and written by Oliver Stone. Loosely based on the 1929 novel of the same name and serving as a loose remake of the 1932 film, it tells the story of Cuban refugee Tony Montana (played by Al Pacino), who arrives penniless in Miami during the Mariel boatlift and becomes a powerful and extremely homicidal drug lord.

The coin’s reverse features a replica of the Scarface poster with Tony Montana silhouette and the inscription “The World is Yours”.

The coin’s obverse features the Niue Coat of Arms, the year-date and the monetary denomination.

This coin is struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver with selected coloured enamelling.

The coin enclosed is produced under licence by The Coin Company Australia as legal tender under the authority of Niue.
