Australian Opal Lunar Series – 2021 Year of the Ox 1oz Silver Proof Coin

The Coin Company is proud to present Australian Opal Lunar Series – 2021 Year of the Ox 1oz Silver Proof Coin, produced by the Perth Mint.

The coin’s reverse incorporates an inner panel design of an ox detailed in pure Australian opal. The outer panel of the coin features intricate patterning with stylised depictions of tulips. The design includes the inscription ‘YEAR OF THE OX’ and the Chinese character for ‘ox’ together with the 2021 year-date, the coin’s weight and purity, and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.

The coin’s obverse bears the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II within a stylised pattern and the monetary denomination.

Australian Opal Lunar Series – 2021 Year of the Ox 1oz Silver Proof Coin, has a limited mintage of 5000 coins.
