This unusual combination creates a bold contemporary interpretation of justice as both a moral principle and something that must be actively protected. The inscriptions “JUSTICE” and “IN JUSTICE WE TRUST” complete the design.       

The obverse features the official coat of arms of the Republic of Liberia, depicting a sailing ship approaching the coastline beneath a rising sun. The national motto “The Love of Liberty Brought Us Here” appears above the shield. The surrounding inscriptions identify the issuing country, the denomination of One Dollar, the year 2026, and the specifications 5 Ounces .999 Copper.

Struck from 5 oz, equivalent to 155.5 g, of .999 fine Copper, the coin measures 65 mm in diameter. Its large format allows the flowing robes, balanced scales and intricate national emblem to be presented with impressive clarity.
