The Coin Company is proud to present 2024 $2 Special Wrap Roll - Celebrating Inuit Nunangat (Non-colourized) by the Royal Canadian Mint.

Representing a first for a Canadian circulation coin, the reverse design of the $2 Celebrating Inuit Nunangat commemorative circulation coin was created jointly by four Inuit artists, each representing one of the four treaty areas of Inuit Nunangat (ᐃᓄᐃᑦ ᓄᓇᖓᑦ): Nunatsiavut (ᓄᓇᑦᓯᐊᕗᑦ), Nunavik (ᓄᓇᕕᒃ), Nunavut (ᓄᓇᕗᑦ) and the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (ᐃᓄᕕᐊᓗᐃᑦ ᓄᓇᖓ).

This is the first time four artists have been featured on a Canadian circulation coin. Each artist represents one of the four treaty areas of Inuit Nunangat: Tegan Voisey (Makkovik, Nunatsiavut), Thomassie Mangiok (Ivujivik, Nunavik), Charlotte Karetak (Arviat, Nunavut) and Mary Okheena (Ulukhaktok, Inuvialuit Settlement Region).

Key Features:

➢ Each roll contains 25 selectively coloured $2 coins that come rolled up in a custom paper wrap.
➢ The reverse design is an expression of Inuit Nunangat, one that represents Inuit unity while also reflecting the rich cultural diversity found in the Inuit homeland in Canada—an area that encompasses 40% of Canada’s total land mass and over 70% of its coastline.
➢ All 25 coins are uncirculated: they all have a newly minted quality.
➢ A view of the reverse design, visible on one or both ends of the roll. The production process and quality assurance for uncirculated Special Wrap Rolls allows for either the reverse design on both ends or the reverse design on one end and the obverse on the other. It is not possible for the Mint to guarantee or foresee which of the two versions will be shipped.
➢ Only 10,000 rolls. A Coloured Special Wrap Roll is also available – collect both!
