2023 Diwali 1oz Silver Gilded Medallion

The Coin Company is proud to present 2023 Diwali 1oz Silver Gilded Medallion produced by The Perth Mint.

The medallion’s gilded reverse portrays a representation of Lakshmi sitting on a lotus flower, the symbol of enlightenment, with coins emerging from the palm of her hand. Next to her, a representation of Ganesha is sitting on a cushion while being attended by a mouse, one of his traditional mounts, who offers sweets as a symbol of generosity.

The deities are framed by an ornate architectural motif with hanging lanterns in the background. Included in the design is the inscription ‘happy diwali’, the medallion’s weight and fineness, and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.

The medallion’s gilded obverse portrays a diya surrounded by concentric patters of lotus flowers surrounded by an ornate architectural motif.
