The coin’s ultra high relief reverse portrays a wedge-tailed eagle with outstretched wings standing on a branch. As well as the inscription AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the reverse also includes the coin’s weight, fineness and its 2023 year-date. The coin bears the Jody Clark Memorial Obverse of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II supplemented with the dates of her reign ‘1952-2022’, and the coin’s monetary denomination.

The coin’s ultra high relief reverse is minted on a concave surface to ensure the optimum flow of metal is achieved by the strike of the die.

The coin is housed in a classic display case within an illustrated shipper and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
