Australian Paralympic Team 2024 $1 Coloured AlBr Uncirculated Coin

Paralympics Australia and the Royal Australian Mint have partnered to share in the journey of our Para-athletes at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games in August this year. Join the excitement as our Australian Paralympic Team competes on the world stage, vying for medals in sports including wheelchair rugby, Para-athletics, Para-table tennis and Para-swimming.

The Royal Australian Mint is proud to have released various coins and memorabilia sharing in the spirit of the Olympics, Paralympics and Commonwealth Games over the decades. The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games is next, as we unite to cheer on Australia’s elite Para-athletes. The 2024 $1 Coloured Uncirculated Coin features a female Para-table tennis player mid-swing during a match. The iconic green and gold.

Australia is going to the Moon! An Aussie designed and built rover will be part of NASA’s Artemis program in the second half of the 2020s. The rover is being developed by local industry and universities to demonstrate Australia’s expertise in remote operations. The rover will be operated from a control station in Australia and collect lunar soil from which NASA will try to extract oxygen. This will see Australia play a direct role in NASA’s mission to return to the Moon and on to Mars.
