The coin’s reverse portrays a coloured representation of a happy young horse resting on grass adorned with delicate flowers and a dragonfly fluttering above. The Chinese character for ‘horse’, the inscription ‘YEAR OF THE HORSE’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark are also incorporated in the design. The coin’s weight, fineness, monetary denomination and 2026 year-date can be found on the coin’s obverse alongside Jody Clark’s effigy of His Majesty King Charles III
