Grizzly Bear design effectively captures the intimidating presence of a Grizzly Bear. Described as a “mysterious monster” by First Nations and Native Americans, Grizzlies can weigh more than 1,320 pounds and can stand upwards of eight-feet tall. 

The one-ounce version of this coin struck by the Royal Canadian Mint in a full ounce of highly pure 99.99% silver. In addition to the gleaming silver, the coin was also produced in Ultra High Relief (UHR) with detail so intricate that the designs seem like they’re leaping from their surfaces! Plus, this legal-tender $20 coin also comes in gorgeous Proof condition, meaning it was expertly crafted by the mint from hand-selected planchets, polished dies and multiple strikes to produce beautifully frosted details rising over mirror-like fields. Plus, each coin will be accompanied by a small storycard about the coin that was personally signed by the designer - Emily Damstra herself!
