200 Years of ZSL 2026 UK £2 Silver Proof Piedfort Coin

The Coin Company is proud to present the 200 Years of ZSL 2026 UK £2 Silver Proof Piedfort Coin produced by The Royal Mint.

First established in 1826 by Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles, ZSL (Zoological Society of London) celebrates its bicentenary in 2026. Now working in more than 70 countries worldwide, this science-driven charity aims to restore natural habitats, protect threatened species and educate conservationists. ZSL works to drive positive change across the world with its groundbreaking science and conservation work, helping wildlife and people to better co-exist.         

The Royal Mint is proud to celebrate 200 years of ZSL with a UK £2 coin. Available as a gold Proof, silver Proof Piedfort, silver Proof and Brilliant Uncirculated edition, the reverse of the coin features a Sumatran tiger, a Socorro dove, and a Partula snail in a design created by Jonathan Olliffe to represent ZSL’s conservation impact. The coin also features the edge inscription ‘· RESTORING WILDLIFE TOGETHER’. The Royal Mint will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each coin to ZSL.
