50th anniversary of AC/DC 2023 50c Silver Antiqued Coin

The Coin Company is proud to present 50th anniversary of AC/DC 2023 50c Silver Antiqued Coin by The Royal Australian Mint.

AC/DC is an Australian music icon and this year celebrates 50 years since forming in 1973. To recognise Australia’s most popular rock band, the Royal Australian Mint is releasing two coins, which will appeal to AC/DC fans as well as new and repeat collectors. This program follows the release of the AC/DC 45th anniversary program released in 2018.

The group toured the world, playing to sold-out arenas, and have sold more than 200 million albums over the past five decades. After semi-retiring, the current members re-grouped to release their 2020 album Power Up, which went on to number one in more than 20 countries. 

Coin’s obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II designed by Jody Clark.

50th anniversary of AC/DC 2023 50c Silver Antiqued Coin has a limited mintage of 5,000.
