The Coin Company is proud to present 2025 $25 Fine Silver Coin The Calling of an Engineer by the Royal Canadian Mint.

The field of engineering draws many of Canada's best and brightest – individuals dedicated to innovation and problem-solving, and to designing, maintaining and improving the structures, tools and systems that impact our lives. Upon earning their degree, Canada’s engineering graduates are invited to take part in an obligation ceremony, where they are conferred the Iron Ring that is a symbol of their professional values and responsibilities.

That faceted ring inspired this 99.99% pure silver coin’s uniquely shaped edge, itself an impressive feat of engineering. On the coin’s reverse, the ring-like rim rises up to encircle the Royal Canadian Mint’s homage to Canada’s engineers and their many varied achievements, on the 100th anniversary (2025) of the rite of passage known as The Calling of an Engineer.

KEY FEATURES

  • The uniquely shaped edge and rim were specially designed for this theme.
  • Another nod to engineers, the word “CANADA” appears in blueprint lettering on the coin’s reverse.
  • Each coin is enclosed in a thicker, oversized capsule that allows for better viewing of the raised rim and faceted edge from all angles.

2025 $25 Fine Silver Coin The Calling of an Engineer has a limited mintage of 5,000 coins.
