The Coin Company is proud to present 2023 $5 1oz Coloured Silver Proof Coin – Australian Antarctic Territory – Humpback Whale by The Royal Australian Mint.

Once hunted near to extinction, Humpback Whales are now found in oceans around the world and are a common sight off eastern and western Australia.

A trio of stately Humpback Whales, two adults and a calf, feature on the Royal Australian Mint’s new $5 Silver Coloured Proof Coin. This limited mintage fine silver coin is presented in an attractive case with certificate of authenticity. 

Coin’s obverse features the Memorial Obverse of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II designed by Jody Clark. 

2023 $5 1oz Coloured Silver Proof Coin – Australian Antarctic Territory – Humpback Whale has a limited mintage of 3,000 worldwide.

    This is an excellent looking coin. I love the contrast with the coloured bottom half that really makes the design stand out. A great addition to my collection which pairs well with the Emperor penguin cain. Can't wait for the next coin in the series.
