The Coin Company is proud to present 2022 South Africa 1 oz Silver Krugerrand Bullion coin produced by The South African mint

The obverse of the coin features Otto Schultz’s striking portrait of President Paul Kruger. As president of the SA Republic from 1883 to 1900, Kruger played a vital role in the movement to restore independence for the South African Republic. This dream finally came to fruition in 1884 after Great Britain officially recognized the South African Republic as an independent state. Encircling Paul Kruger’s left-facing profile on the obverse are the inscriptions “SUID-AFRIKA” and “SOUTH AFRICA”.

On the coin’s reverse, a springbok antelope leaps elegantly through a grassy terrain. As the National Animal of South Africa, the graceful antelope appears on the reverse of both the silver and gold Krugerrands. Inscriptions include “ KRUGERRAND” “2022”, as well as the purity and weight of the coin.
