Australian Quokka 2024 1oz Silver Bullion Coin

The Coin Company is proud to present Australian Quokka 2024 1oz Silver Bullion Coin produced by The Perth Mint.

Quokkas are wallaby-like marsupials found mainly in the south west region of Western Australia, particularly Rottnest Island, an idyllic location 18 kilometres off the Perth coastline. About the same size as domestic cats, furry quokkas are extremely sociable animals blessed with a cute, smiley appearance that’s made them a popular subject for ‘selfies’ in the age of social media.

The coin portrays a ‘happy family’ of quokkas in a beachside location featuring a lighthouse and vegetation symbolising their Rottnest Island home. Included in the design is the inscription ‘QUOKKA’, a ‘P125’ mintmark signifying The Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary, and the 2024 year-date.

Australian Quokka 2024 1oz Silver Bullion Coin has a limited mintage of 30,000 coins.
