The Coin Company is proud to present the Australian Lunar Series III 2024 Year of the Dragon 1oz Platinum Proof Coin by The Perth Mint.

The coin portrays a sinuous Chinese dragon with a blue face and scales, and red spikes along its spine. A blue dragon is associated with nature, healing, the approach of spring and growth. Motifs in the background represent waves and fog, an allusion to the dragon’s control of the elements. Also included in the design is the Chinese character for ‘dragon’, the inscription ‘DRAGON 2024’, and a ‘P125’ mintmark signifying The Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary.
