The Coin Company is proud to present 2024 Australian Kangaroo - King Charles III Obverse - First Issue 1oz Silver Proof Coin by The Perth Mint, the first Perth Mint coin to feature the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III on the obverse.
The coin’s reverse portrays a bounding kangaroo surrounded by stylised rays of sunlight. The inscription ‘AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO’, the coin’s weight, purity, and the 2024 year-date appear within a border pattern of wavy lines. Also incorporated in the design is a ‘P125’ mintmark signifying The Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary.
The coin bears the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, and the monetary denomination.
2024 Australian Kangaroo - King Charles III Obverse - First Issue 1oz Silver Proof Coin has a limited mintage of 7500 coins.
