2023 $5 1/2g Gold Frosted Uncirculated Coin – Mini Money Emu

The Coin Company is proud to present 2023 $5 1/2g Gold Frosted Uncirculated Coin – Mini Money Emu by The Royal Australian Mint.

Towering to nearly two metres, Australia’s flightless bird, the Emu, ranks in size second only to the African Ostrich. Emus - depicted on the Royal Australian Mint’s new Mini Money $5 half gram gold coin - are also second only to Kangaroos and maybe Koalas as most recognizable of Australia’s distinctive wildlife. 

The first two coins show the Koala, released in June 2021, and Kookaburra, released in July 2022. The reverse shows the image of Queen Elizabeth II. These are affordable $5 denomination half gram frosted uncirculated pure gold coins displayed in a simple capsule. 

2023 $5 1/2g Gold Frosted Uncirculated Coin – Mini Money Emu has a limited mintage of 5,000.
